Companion themes are now available in Account Settings, bringing personalized colour schemes inspired by Quill, Summi, and Sage to your entire app experience. The Template Wizard has been enhanced with a new 'Build With Quill' option that lets you describe templates and have Companion create and optimize them for you.

✨ New Features
  • Template Optimization: In the template builder, the More dropdown now includes an 'Optimize My Template' option that opens Scribenote companion and asks it to improve your template's structure, sections, and formatting.‍
  • Companion Themes: In Account Settings, the theme selector now includes three fun companion-inspired colour themes - Quill's Theme (warm amber), Summi's Theme (soft purple), and Sage's Theme (cool green) - that restyle the entire app with each companion's personality.‍
  • Enhanced Template Wizard: In the note template wizard, a new 'Build With Quill' option lets you describe the template you need and have Companion build it for you, with example prompts to get started. The previous 'Select a Preset' and 'Start from Scratch' options have been combined into a single 'Build Your Own' option where you can choose a preset or skip to build from scratch, and the note format choice (SOAP or Freeform) now appears directly on the template editing step.‍
  • Mobile Education Screen: On mobile devices before signup, you now see an education screen explaining the app - helping you understand features before creating an account.‍
  • PDF Markdown Support: In downloaded note PDFs - basic markdown formatting like bold and italics now appears properly - improving readability of exported records.‍
  • What’s new Menu: The in-app context menu now allows you to view product updates.
🐛 Bug Fixes
  • Audio File Upload Support: The Upload Audio File button on the recording page now accepts .3gp and .mov files, which are common audio formats from mobile devices and voice recorders.

A big week for Adaptive Templates! You can now ask Quill to build or update a template for you, and easily find the right one to record with using the search bar in the template dropdown. Five new templates are now also available in the template library. PIMSPal now works in rich text editors and honours the PIMS export format (plain text, markdown symbols, or rich text) determined in your account settings.

🌟 Highlights
  • PIMSPal 3.3.0: PIMSPal now honours your PIMS Export Format account setting, so notes are imported in the format you've configured without extra steps. It also works in new rich text PIMS editors. The PIMSPal dropdown stays where you moved it on the page.
✨ New Features
  • Ask Quill to create or edit a template (Companion > Templates): From the companion sidebar, ask Quill to build a new template or make changes to an existing one. Just describe what you want and Quill will handle the rest.‍
  • Redesigned template dropdown - searchable with a live preview (Note Editor > Template Selection): The template picker now shows a searchable field organized by section (Favorites, My SOAPs, My Freeform, Team Defaults, Shared with you, Scribenote Defaults). Select any template to see a preview before applying it.‍
  • Five new templates in the Template Library (Templates > Template Library): Client Follow-Up Email, Kitten Discharge, Injury Discharge, Self-Review: Visit Communication, and Invoice Audit Checklist are now available under Create Template > Select a Preset.‍
  • Unsynced recordings now appear in your Inbox (Dashboard / Inbox > Unsynced tab): The Inbox now has an "Unsynced" tab showing any recordings that didn't upload, with a sync button on each one to retry. No more hunting for a separate folder to upload your notes. Any unsynced notes will be on top of the notes in dashboard.

Widget Mode is now accessible to all users without a Pro subscription, and the Template Library has been expanded with new puppy discharge template.

✨ New Features
  • Widget Mode Access (Widget Mode): Widget Mode is now available to all users - you no longer need a Pro subscription to use the Widget Mode button for accessing Scribenote side-by-side with your PIMS.‍
  • Puppy Discharge Template (Templates > Template Library): A new "Puppy Discharge" template is now available in the Template Library, with pre-filled sections for patient info, vaccinations, parasite control, medications, nutrition, and follow-up care instructions.‍
  • Dental Chart Direction Labels (Note Editor): The dental chart in the note editor and PDF export now displays "R" and "L" labels on either side, making it clear which side of the mouth is left and which is right.
🐛 Bug Fixes
  • Companion Session Titles (Companion Panel): Long companion session titles in the chat header and session history list are now truncated with an ellipsis instead of expanding the sidebar.‍
  • Team Invite Management (Team Settings): Any team or org admin can now resend or revoke a pending team invite, not just the person who originally sent it.‍
  • Select and Replace Auto-Save (Note Editor): Fixed an issue where using Select and Replace in the note editor did not trigger auto-save, requiring a manual save or additional edit to persist the replacement.
