How Quill Can Help

Working with Quill is simple: just give him a prompt, and Quill will get right to work, editing your notes for you. Here are a few examples to get you started:

  • Adding or Removing Information from Notes:
    • @quill add a focused discharge report at the bottom of the plan section, including the reason for the appointment, what was done, and next steps.
    • @quill remove the normals from the objective section.
  • Conciseness & Clarity:
    • @quill re-write the client summary so that it’s 200 words max.
  • Note Formatting:
    • @quill make the subjective section point form.
    • @quill add subheadings to the plan section.
    • @quill capitalize abnormals in the objective section.
  • Tone:
    • @quill re-write the objective section using layman's terms.
    • @quill re-write the plan section using medical terminology.
Just ask Quill for the edits you need, and he will make them for you!

Customizing Client Summaries

One of the most powerful ways Quill supports your workflow is by helping you craft custom client summaries.

Here are a few ways you can ask Quill to tailor summaries for your clients:

  • @quill include only the treatment options and follow-up plan in the client summary.
  • @quill re-write the client summary in email format.
Quill gives you the ability to accept or reject his changes, presenting a before and after for your review.

Why We Built Quill

Veterinarians already juggle countless responsibilities, and the last thing you need is to wrestle with formatting, accuracy tweaks, or endless editing. Quill was built to:

  • Save time: Eliminate the back-and-forth of manual editing.
  • Reduce stress: No more fussing with notes, trying to get every formatting detail right.
  • More control: Instead of shaping templates around your needs, you can simply tell Quill what to change.

At its core, Quill helps bring back peace of mind, freeing you up to focus on what really matters: patient care.

Quill for Your Whole Team

Quill isn’t just for veterinarians: it’s designed to support your entire care team.

After each appointment, either the DVM or a member of the care team, can use Quill to refine medical notes and create clear client summaries. Once edited, these summaries can be easily copied into an email or discharge instructions, or emailed directly through Scribenote.

This process allows any team member to handle client-ready communication, reducing the workload on the DVM and giving them more time to focus on patient care.

Copy your client summary, or email it directly to your client from within Scribenote.
